Happy New Year 2025

Thank you for all of your support during the Autumn Term! Here’s a round up of what we’ve been up to so far this school year.

Sports equipment, hoodies and reading corner seating

We were pleased to hear that the new sport equipment arrived in school before Christmas and we're looking forward to seeing it in use this term.

We also loved seeing the Year 6 pupils have received their leavers hoodies.

The PTFA have agreed to support pre school by buying some comfortable seating for the children to enhance the reading area and home corner. The furniture will enable the children to be able to relax and feel comfortable when reading and looking at books independently as well as making the home corner have areas where the children can sit and chat with their friends during play.

Huge thank you from all the pupils in Year 6 cohort 2025.

A big thank you from Pre-school for money to purchase some comfortable seating for the children to sit on in our reading area. It looks fantastic and the children are already making very good use of it.

Disco

Thank you to everyone who supported the discos last term, you helped raise £891.78.

The children all had a great time and were brilliantly behaved. A massive shout out to the parents that helped us, the teachers and staff who danced the afternoon away, the prefects who helped and Herbie who was a fantastic DJ!

We hope all the children enjoyed their gift of a tree. We would love to see some pictures when they are planted and growing.

Events

We have a fun filled Spring and Summer Term planned including a Pamper Afternoon, Colour Fun Run and Obstacle Course and the return of our Summer Festival, see our Events pages to find out more. Please do get in touch if you are interested in having a stall at the pamper event and the Summer Festival.

Our first event this term is the return of Friday Treat Day on 31st January.

If you would like to be involved in supporting the planning of our events this term, please do get in touch via email ptfa@hall-orchard.leics.sch.uk
