How we raised and spent your generous support
At Hall Orchard, the PTFA plays a vital role in enriching our children’s experiences and school life. Between January 2023 and May 2024, thanks to the incredible support from our community, we raised £10,533.69 and thoughtfully allocated £7,198.74 to fund a variety of initiatives.
Where the money came from
Our fundraising efforts reflect the creativity and commitment of parents, teachers, and friends working together. Here's a breakdown of where we raised our funds:
Party in the Park 2023: £230.09
Rainbow Raffles: £675 (2023) and £1,323.50 (2024)
Donations: £2,660
Christmas Street Market 2023: £467.86
Summer Fair and Ice Poles 2023: £3,232.63
Discos: £732.75 (Summer 2023) and £704.70 (Winter 2023)

How the funds were spent
The funds raised were channelled back into the school to provide valuable resources, memorable experiences, and support for all our children. Here's how the money was spent:
To welcome children into Reception, we provide each child with a book bag (£600)
We support students moving on from Hall Orchard with a Leaver’s hoodie (2023: £910.56, 2024: £312.12)
Essential resources: Waterproofs to support Forest School and outdoor learning (£775.90), microphones (£600), and trim trail maintenance (£630)
Chicks and Science Day (£269 for chicks and £1,230 for Science Day)
African drumming session (£299)
Gardening Club support (£300)
Annual PTFA Membership through ParentKind (£298)
What’s Next?
With a remaining balance from our total funds raised, we’re excited to plan more projects and events that will benefit our school community. Every pound raised goes toward making Hall Orchard Primary School an inspiring and nurturing environment for our children.
